We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Roller Chain", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Transmission roller chain offers longer life from Wyko, an Eriks Company, which we summarised at the time by saying "Transmission roller chain has solid rollers, manufactured to achieve an extremely high surface hardness, and to ensure high wear resistance in hostile environments as well as improving chain life". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Coated roller chains take high loads from Iwis-Flexon: "Roller chains are coated to significantly reduce the surface coefficient of friction within the chain link and offer a high load bearing capacity, wear-resistance and resistance to chemicals".

In July 2007, we covered the news from Igus (UK) concerning its Energy chains at Hannover Fair - take a look at Energy chain systems are quieter and more compact which says: "Energy chain systems developments include compact size, easy assembly, higher speeds and increased wear resistance and the supplier has introduced introduced inductive and wireless data transmission".

Take a look also at the news release from Iwis-Flexon, Corrosion-resistant roller chain beats humidity, as well as Acquisition delivers roller chain to the UK from Iwis-Flexon, and Chain conveyor brakes for pallet accumulation from Excel Automation.
