Start with the news release SV-1000 increases two-stroke engines' power output from Sunnen Products Company, which we summarised at the time by saying "Sunnen has introduced the SV-1000 vertical CNC honing machine, which allows manufacturers of outdoor power equipment to improve the durability and power output of small two-stroke engines.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Makino machining centres cut titanium faster from NCMT: "Japanese machine-tool builder Makino has introduced the Makino T4 and T2 five-axis, high power, horizontal machining centres for machining components from titanium and its alloys.".
 
In July 2009, we covered the news from Cognex - automation - take a look at Brewery machine uses Visionpro guidance system which says: "A machine at the Grolsch brewery in the Netherlands relies on Cognex Visionpro, which guides the grippers that are programmed to rotate and align the bottles so that they have optimum visibility.".
