‘Spectrometers’

A Manufacturingtalk guide

Start with the news release Burkert introduces Type 2822 proportional valves from Burkert Fluid Control Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "Burkert's Type 2822 proportional valves are said to be designed with unique shaped springs, enabling them to set performance standards for higher sensitivity to positional changes.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Software aids metals analysis automation from Thermo Fisher Scientific: "Thermo Fisher Scientific has introduced Thermo Scientific ARL SMS version 6 software features a common software platform covering the instrument and automation.".

In April 2008, we covered the news from A2 Technologies - take a look at Analyse machinery lubrication on-site which says: "A portable spectrometer from A2 Technologies analyses the lubrication media of turbine generators, diesel engines, compressors, gearboxes and hydraulic systems on-site.".

Take a look also at the news release from Agie Charmilles, Five-axis machining ups instruments output, as well as FT-IR spectrometer for real-time oil analysis from A2 Technologies, and Company news at mass spectrometry society meeting from Waters.
