We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Surface Finish", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Actuators use 30% lower air consumption from Tomoe Valve, which we summarised at the time by saying "An actuator range, comprising 15 double acting and 15 spring return models, uses 30% lower air consumption than its rack and pinion equivalent". The day before, we featured the news release Mill-turn centres increase metal removal rate from Kingsbury Machine Tools: "German CNC lathe builder has redesigned its mill-turn centres that are over twice as rigid as earlier models, allowing an increased depth of cut to be taken to maximise metal removal rate".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Guyson International concerning its Mediblast 1400 stainless steel blast cabinet - take a look at Blast cabinet designed for medical products which says: "A stainless steel blast cabinet has been engineered for medical product manufacturers, where the introduction of ferrous contamination would be detrimental to production".

Take a look also at the news release from Protomold UK, Service produces prototype plastics parts, as well as Powerful CNCs and DROs need not be expensive from Anilam, and Automated shot blasting saves costs, ups safety from Rosler UK.
