We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Surface Finishes",
and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest.
Let me be your guide.
Start with
the news release CNC lathes customised for work requirements from
Leader CNC, which we summarised at the time by saying "Rigid and robust turning centres are available as 2-axis 'turn-only', multi-axis versions with driven tools and C-axis, or as a mill-turn centre with sub-spindle, radial tool turret and
C-axis".
A couple of weeks before,
we featured the news release Five-axis machining ups instruments output from
Agie Charmilles: "To machine complex parts out of stainless steel and aluminium, an instruments manufacturer reports that a 5-axis machining centre has improved productivity, performance and profitability".
In January 2008, we covered the news from Cincinnati Machine
concerning its CFV 5Si 5-axis vertical machining centre at MACH
- take a look at Five-axis machining centre has 150 deg tilt table
which says: "A 5-axis, 5-sided large capacity machining centre has spindle speeds up to 20,000 rev/min and can machine parts up to 400mm diameter and 300mm high with a tilt capability up to 150 deg".
Take a look also at the news release from ITC Tooling, Slot milling cutter reduces machining time 60%,
as well as Metal cutting tooling inserts last longer from Walter GB,
and Vertical machining centre saves the day from Dugard.
