We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Surface Finishing", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Machine tools take the lead - for now from Mike Page - editor's feature articles, which we summarised at the time by saying "At one time, tooling development tended to be a year or so ahead of machine tool development, lately the trend went the other way, though toolmakers are now more than catching up, writes Mike Page". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Surface finishing firm opens logistics centre from Pferd: "German manufacturer of surface finishing, grinding and cutting tools has extended its logistics centre to speed delivery services throughout Europe and worldwide".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Rosler Oberflaechentechnik concerning its Continuous spinner hanger shot blast machine - take a look at Foundry desanding and blast cleaning is continuous which says: "A continuous spinner hanger shot blast machine offered a steel foundry high performance/productivity in relation to the price to process castings weighing from 50 to 10,000kg".

Take a look also at the news release from KUKA Automation + Robotics, Choosing robots for surface finishing applications, as well as Micro-surface finishing reduces friction from MCT, and Robot applies defroster to polycarbonate windows from KUKA Automation + Robotics.
