Start with the news release Automated shot blasting saves costs, ups safety from Rosler UK, which we summarised at the time by saying "Automated shot blasting systems for high value castings increase process safety and lower foundry costs by lowering manual labour involvement in fettling and surface finishing, says Rosler UK". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Edge sintered inserts cut Al machining costs from WNT (UK): "Inserts use the latest in sintering technology to improve metal cutting performance and reduce costs in applications involving aluminium and other light alloys".
 
In July 2007, we covered the news from Midest - Reed Expositions France - take a look at MIDEST to host 700 foreign subcontractors which says: "Almost 700 foreign subcontractors will take stand space at the French MIDEST subcontracting exhibition, including increasing numbers from North Africa as well as Eastern Europe".
