A Manufacturingtalk guide

Start with the news release Barden manufactures cylindrical roller bearings from Barden Corporation, which we summarised at the time by saying "The Barden Corporation has announced it is able to manufacture a range of cylindrical roller bearings up to 150mm outside diameter.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Combined bending machines improve GKN operations from Unison: "GKN Aerospace has improved the efficiency and speed of tube-bending operations at its wing component facility in Filton, UK, despite using demanding tubing materials and fabricating complex shapes.".

In June 2009, we covered the news from Citizen Machinery UK - take a look at Citizen machines provide maximum productivity which says: "Citizen machines are playing a key role in Renishaw's continued quest to maximise machine utilisation and productivity while minimising changeover times. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Doncasters Group Ltd, Doncasters invests in machining fabrication, as well as Ross and Catherall offers superalloys casting from Doncasters Group Ltd, and Powerinspect checks part sizes against CAD data from Delcam.
