A Manufacturingtalk guide

Start with the news release Vision selects Heidenhain linear encoders and DROs from Heidenhain, which we summarised at the time by saying "Vision Engineering has utilised glass scale linear encoders and Quadra-Chek Metrology DROs from Heidenhain in its optical inspection, manipulation and measurement equipment.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Ruland shaft collars provide high holding power from Ruland Manufacturing: "Ruland Manufacturing offers shaft collars that can be used in equipment such as motors, gearboxes, linear actuators, packaging equipment, printing presses, medical devices and precision instruments.".

In August 2010, we covered the news from Mori Seiki - take a look at SL Engineering purchases further Mori Seiki lathe which says: "Following a complete investment appraisal analysis, SL Engineering decided to purchase an additional Mori Seiki NL2000 SY mill-turn lathe, bringing its tally of Mori Seiki machines to five.".
