We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Tool Changes", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Compact gear shaving machine is productive from Gleason Corporation, which we summarised at the time by saying "A compact, highly productive machine for the fine finishing of soft spur and helical gears performs plunge as well as diagonal and parallel shaving processes". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Sliding head automatics quell CNC 'fear' from NC Engineering: "If anyone has any 'fear' of using CNC machines, this subcontractor's experiences with CNC sliding had automatic lathes , show how that fear was lost and more profits were gained".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Mike Page - editor's feature articles concerning its Kennametal drilling developments - take a look at Specialised drills save machining costs which says: "Six drilling developments shown by Kennametal at EMO 2007, included hole making in SS and carbon-fibre reinforced polymers, deep-hole drilling and a modular drilling system, reports Mike Page".

Take a look also at the news release from CMS Group (UK), Modular machining centres mill at high speeds, as well as Speeding up and securing tool changing from Mapal, and Pick-up VTL machines shafts completely from Emag UK.
