Start with the news release Amtek uses Tooling Trust grant to upgrade skills from The Tooling Trust, which we summarised at the time by saying "Amtek Precision, a mould toolmaker for high volume, multi-cavity plastic injection, has used a grant from the Tooling Trust to upgrade the skills of CADCAM engineer Dan Grant.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Apprentices use Dugard machines for UK Skills heat from Dugard: "Three engineering apprentices using C Dugard machines have made it through to the UK Skills final. ".
 
In January 2009, we covered the news from DMG (UK) - take a look at Lasertec 20 ideal for micro-technology machining which says: "The Sauer Lasertec 20 fine-cutting processing centre from DMG (UK) has been developed for fast and accurate micro-machining of precision components.".
