Start with the news release Schaublin CNC turning centre for medical machining from Schaublin Machine Tools, which we summarised at the time by saying "Schaublin Machines has announced that Clada Medical and Alta Science have selected the 102TM CNC turning centre for intricate micro-machining.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Floyd to present tooling for sliding-head machines from Floyd Automatic Tooling: "On stand 5281 at Mach 2010, Floyd Automatic Tooling will be demonstrating its ability to supply a wide and specialised range of tooling to users of sliding-head turning centres.".
 
In March 2010, we covered the news from NCMT - take a look at Mill-turn centre features three-station changer which says: "Okuma's mill-turn centre combines the power of a 45kW CNC lathe with that of a 37kW machining centre capable of removing 610cm3/min of S45C steel using a f100 face mill. ".
