We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Turning Tools", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Tool-setting system made for mill-turn centres from Blum Novotest, which we summarised at the time by saying "Laser-based, non-contact, tool setting system measures rotating tools as well as the mechanically measuring non-rotating tools in five approach directions". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Measuring probes set tools, measure parts from NCMT: "CNC machine tool manually operated measuring probes will be introduced for tool length setting, datuming and component measurement at MACH 2008".

In November 2007, we covered the news from CGTech concerning its VERICUT 6.1 - take a look at CNC program simulation/verification streamlined which says: "CNC machining software is designed to streamline the NC program verification and simulation process, and provide more tools to analyse the CNC machining process".

Take a look also at the news release from Emag UK, Highly flexible hobber cuts gears up to Module 4, as well as One system sets milling and turning tools from Blum Novotest, and Metal cutting insert raises milling efficiency from TaeguTec UK.
