We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Vertical Turning Lathes", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Vertical turning lathes mill and grind too from Dugard, which we summarised at the time by saying "A range of elevating cross rail-type vertical turning lathes machine parts up to 2.8m diameter by 1.6m height, including milling, drilling and, optionally, grinding too". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Mill-turn centre machines complex components from Ward CNC Machinery: "A 3-axis mill-turn centre with C-axis and driven tooling enables complex mill-turn-drill operations to be quickly and efficiently performed in a single set-up".

In November 2007, we covered the news from Mike Page - editor's feature articles concerning its CNC machine tools and wind turbines - take a look at Wind generates more machine tool sales energy which says: "For some builders of heavy-duty machine tools at EMO 2007, the worldwide spread of wind farms has generated up to 30% in new business, reports Mike Page".

Take a look also at the news release from Ward CNC Machinery, Heavy duty milling centres have high capacity, as well as Linear encoders enliven vertical boring mills from Newall Measurement Systems, and Machining optimised with cutting tools progress from Sandvik Coromant UK.
