Start with the news release Parts feeding system is quickly adaptable from AA Robotics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Parts feeding system uses a fast and precise robot, an integrated, high resolution machine vision system and an extremely innovative flexible feed system to cope with changing products". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Robot's anthropomorphic arm offers large envelope from Fanuc Robotics (UK): "The fast 5-axis M-430iA/2F Robot from Fanuc, with a reach of 900mm, is capable of carrying out horizontal or vertical product placement positions".
 
In June 2007, we covered the news from Adept Scientific concerning its GigE camera - take a look at GigE vision camera with easy-to-use interface which says: "The CV-A10/A70 series of high quality 1/2' progressive scan CCD cameras from JAI can now be used with the easy-to-use and flexible GigE vision interface".
