We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Vision Sensor", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Vision sensor system inspects workpieces from Schunk Intec, which we summarised at the time by saying "An intelligent vision sensor system can be used without additional peripheral devices for practically all tasks in industrial image processing, including the inspection of workpieces". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release On-axis lights for even illumination from Banner Engineering: "By delivering collimated illumination in the same optical path as the camera, on-axis lights from Banner Engineering provide diffused illumination on flat surfaces for easier inspection".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Schunk Intec concerning its Mechatronics, robotics, automation and control - take a look at Mechatronics, robotics, automation and control which says: "A strategic partnership between Schunk and Vision and Control, a market leading industrial image processing manufacturer, has been announced".

Take a look also at the news release from Motoman Robotics (UK), Six-axis welding robots cut cycle time by 15%, as well as Seminar attendance found right vision sensor from Cognex UK, and Image processing controls robotic handling from Cognex UK.
