We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Vision Sensors", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release On-axis lights for even illumination from Banner Engineering, which we summarised at the time by saying "By delivering collimated illumination in the same optical path as the camera, on-axis lights from Banner Engineering provide diffused illumination on flat surfaces for easier inspection". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Six-axis industrial robots perform arc welding from MOTOMAN Robotics Europe: "Two 6-axis industrial robots for arc welding are claimed to be 40% faster than previous robots owing to advanced motion control and by minimising arc on/off time".

In August 2007, we covered the news from Cognex UK concerning its Vision systems and ThyssenKrupp Krause - take a look at Assembly systems provider makes vision choice which says: "More demand from users for machine vision systems on assembly lines to support quality assurance led a German supplier to choose a provider offering user-friendly, reliable systems with support".

Take a look also at the news release from Cognex UK, Image processing controls robotic handling, as well as Part traceability made with vision technology from Cognex UK, and CNC laser welders assisted by advanced vision from Cognex UK.
