Start with the news release Water jet cutting increases revenue by 79% from Jet Edge, which we summarised at the time by saying "Within two years of buying its waterjet systems, an Alabama, USA, company saw its annual revenue increase by more than 79% and it grew from 10 employees to 25". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Abrasive water jet centre cuts complex parts from Jet Edge: "An abrasive water jet machining centre produces complex parts out of any material, in high-volume, short run, or 'few-off' prototype parts".

In January 2007, we covered the news from Houghton Plc concerning its Economi recycling of metalworking fluids - take a look at Metalworking fluids recycled more economically which says: "Installation of a briquetting press allows metalworking fluids to be economically recycled, saving on fluid and waste disposal costs, while scrap metal is accounted for more accurately".

Take a look also at the news release from Parker Hannifin Filtration Division, Filters cut costs, minimise environmental damage, as well as Waterjet cutting eliminates batchwork tooling from Jet Edge, and Review of abrasives usage cuts costs by 22% from 3M Abrasive Systems Division.
