We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Weld Head", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Gas-cooled orbital weld head is 41.5mm wide from Orbitec, which we summarised at the time by saying "Capable of welding tube of 114.3mm diameter, a narrow,gas-cooled welding head is just 41.5mm wide and offers a high duty cycle performance equivalent to that of water-cooled heads". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Actuators ensure high accuracy assembly from Festo: "An automated assembly system designed to fabricate miniature sensor modules makes extensive use of electrical and pneumatic actuators to ensure high accuracy assembly and precision micro welding".

In January 2007, we covered the news from techmatrix, LLC concerning its Automated resistance spot weld platform - take a look at Automated spot weld platform ups output which says: "An automated resistance spot weld platform is an ideal solution for companies trying to increase throughput without having to buy more dedicated resistance weld stations".

Take a look also at the news release from Hoerbiger-Origa, Rodless pneumatic cylinder gives precise movement, as well as Submerged-arc welding does the job better from ESAB, and Four-plane balancing machines introduced from Universal Balancing.
