We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Workpieces", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Automatic storage/cutting speeds steel deliveries from Friedrich Remmert, which we summarised at the time by saying "Speedy and flexible order processing for steel products are ensured primarily thanks to the use of integrated, fully-automatic storage and cutting technologies". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Measuring probes set tools, measure parts from NCMT: "CNC machine tool manually operated measuring probes will be introduced for tool length setting, datuming and component measurement at MACH 2008".

In February 2008, we covered the news from Eclipse Magnetics concerning its Power Matrix chucks at MACH 2008 - take a look at Magnetic chucks offer high work holding power which says: "A high-performance, electro-permanent magnetic chuck offers 150 tonf/m2 of magnetic pull, enabling huge holding forces to be generated on even modestly sized workpieces".

Take a look also at the news release from Trumpf, CNC punching, laser cutting, bending demonstrated, as well as Vertical machining centre shortens cycle times from Yamazaki Mazak UK, and Metal cutting tools go on display at MACH 2008 from Walter GB.
