We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Zero Backlash", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Manufacturingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Five axis machining of aerospace components from Dugard, which we summarised at the time by saying "A Hedelius RS 125-K supplied by C Dugard to Oldland CNC Engineering, using five-axis technology, enables machining of larger aluminium and titanium aerospace components". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Low cost actuators are simpler to apply from Inmoco: "Low cost actuators provide a simple and low cost electrical alternative to fluid power actuators, and to electric drive systems employing ball screw or gear reducer mechanisms".

In July 2007, we covered the news from Hardinge Machine Tools concerning its DD200 high speed, high torque indexer unit - take a look at High precision indexer is high speed which says: "A high-speed rotary indexing unit offers high precision positioning with accurate repeatability for positioning parts on CNC milling machines and machining centres".

Take a look also at the news release from Renold Hi-Tec Couplings, Rubber-in-compression couplings chosen, as well as Oldham couplings and zero-backlash jaw couplings from Ruland Manufacturing Co, and Hollow bore precision gear for motion control from Centa Transmissions.
