Higher output from air compressors
Abac's new compressors are extremely efficient producing a much higher output than that previously achieved, providing very low power consumption.
The complex is a grand leisure park development, which includes a thirty screen cinema, health clubs, theme restaurants and numerous other attractions.
Relocated from its original site in Handsworth, Birmingham, the new modern Toyota dealership has been specially designed to meet the requirements of the futuristic style of the entire Star City development and ensure that it is customer friendly in its layout and design.
In particular, it incorporates an open plan fast-fit style workshop, to enable customers to view work being carried out on their vehicles in a comfortable and relaxing environment.
A PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) centre is situated on an adjacent site to service new and used cars.
To power the air tools and other equipment in the workshop and PDI centre, Hamer Toyota has purchased two low noise, B4900 LN Series reciprocating compressors.
Specially designed for use in service work shops, the new compressors are packaged in an acoustically designed cabinet, resulting in exceptionally low noise, typically in the region of 64-68db(A).
This low level of operating noise was a major factor in the specification of B4900 compressors, as the systems are being used in an open plan environment.
In particular, the B4900 compressors have been designed so that they can be positioned in the most convenient location, even in the immediate vicinity of employees or customers.
With a simple yet rugged design, a low speed compressor for a long life and quieter operation, and a highly efficient cooling system, the B4900 LN compressors are designed to provide high levels of reliability and durability combined with minimal maintenance.
Toyota World is part of a rapidly expanding group and ABAC compressors, supplied by Graham Palmer Services, have been installed in all of the dealerships throughout the group.
