Mobile unit puts compressed air on the
spot
Abac has launched a new mobile compressor, designed for use in factories, workshops, site use and other areas where a temporary highly portable or additional compressed air supply is required
Abac, the world's largest volume manufacturer of compressors, has launched a new mobile compressor, designed for use in factories, workshops, site use and other areas where a temporary highly portable or additional compressed air supply is required Called the Workshop Jobber, the new system is trolley mounted, incorporates direct drive technology, features a high volume air tank and is supplied complete with an 8 metre retractable airline and air tool storage

Higher output from air compressors
Abac's new compressors are extremely efficient producing a much higher output than that previously achieved, providing very low power consumption.
The compressor comes ready to plug in and use.
The Workshop Jobber has been developed to provide high levels of performance from a compact, reliable and easy to use system.
The compressor is driven directly from a powerful, space saving twin 'V' 3HP motor, with the 'V' shaped motor head providing fast and efficient cooling.

The latest low noise ABAC compressors are being used to provide a high quality supply of compressed air for powering various air tools and workshop equipment at a new Hamer Toyota dealership
Perhaps as importantly, the direct drive technology reduces the number of moving parts, thereby minimising the potential for mechanical failure and the need for complex maintenance; in addition, the technology cuts operating noise, allowing the new system to be used safely within the work environment.
The Workshop Jobber incorporates a high capacity, upright storage tank, holding 100l of compressed air, which is available at pressures up to 9bar (130psi) at up to 190 litres per minute (6.7cfm).
Built-in as standard are a high quality filter and regulator unit, plus 8.5m of compressed air hose, which automatically retracts onto an internal hose reel after use.
Unlike other mobile compressors, the Workshop Jobber is mounted on a rigid upright carriage and has a total weight of 67Kg, making it easy to move and position.
In addition, the system features an integrated control panel, has a storage facility for a number of work tools and is fitted with three quick release couplings, for use with most common air tools, including spray guns, drills, air hammers, wash units, grease guns and wrenches.
Nick Poole, Director of Abac UK, explains that, "We believe that this is the first time a truly mobile compressor of this type and level of performance has ever been introduced.
The Workshop Jobber is simple and safe to use, has an excellent specification and provides instant air at the point of use.
As such, it's ideal for use in a wide range of applications, in particular, small workshops where compressed air is used occasionally at several points, but where the purchase of a larger fixed compressors would be prohibitive, and in larger factories where there is the need for additional short term capacity".
Abac can also supply a wide range of air tools and ancillary equipment, for use with the Workshop Jobber.
