ABB drives range extended
ABB has extended the range of one of the key elements in its ACS 600 drives range, by introducing new IGBT Supply Unit frame sizes.
MSP Network Limited will give users with multiple sites a single point of contact.
Through the company, ABB Motor Service Partners will provide a full range of services related to low voltage motors, including sales of new motors, application engineering and modifications, overhauls and repairs of standard as well as explosion proof motors, energy efficiency programmes and stock management.
"This will greatly simplify the transactions for our nationwide customers, yet still provide the service and commitment customers expect from an owner managed business," explains Shaun Sutton, sales director of Central Electrical in Liverpool, one of the member companies.
A contract coordinator, based at Central Electrical's offices, will become the customer's single point of contact.
The services will be delivered by the network of ABB Motor Service Partners around the country.
A single invoice will be issued to the customer, detailing the services that have been used at each site.
The arrangement will reduce the number of suppliers for the user and improve discounts, as contracts are negotiated on the basis of a higher volume.
