Weekend fan parts search saved chipboard output
Tens of thousands of pounds worth of lost production at chipboard manufacturer Sonae Industria, Merseyside, has been saved by ABB Drives Alliance Partner Central Electrical.
The CD-Rom features a presentation that emphasises the important aspects of the directive, such as the motor categories for different applications, including dust ignition proof, non-sparking, increased safety and flameproof motors.
The presentation shows how users can determine if a motor is ATEX certified and gives samples of the motor rating plates.
Other details in the presentation include the certification procedure and the relationship between ATEX 95 and ATEX 137.
The CD-Rom not only contains catalogues and brochures along with fact sheets, press material and photographs but, most importantly, copies of ABB's Declaration of Conformity and respective LCIE (Laboratoire Central des Industries Electriques - notified body number 0081) EC Type Examination Certificates for all frame sizes.
Copies can be ordered by calling ABB's BrochureLine, tel 0800 783 7491.
