ABB drives range extended
ABB has extended the range of one of the key elements in its ACS 600 drives range, by introducing new IGBT Supply Unit frame sizes.
As part of ABB's Motor Service Partner network, the company can deliver motors up to 37kW within three hours, up to 132kW within 24 hours and up to 400kW within 72 hours.
It can also dimension, specify and install the correct motor for any application, repair and provide preventative maintenance, motor management advice, stock motors on behalf of customers and conduct energy surveys.

Gwinnutt specialises in AC and DC motor repairs, supply of motors, control gear and associated equipment, planned maintenance, laser alignment and thermography.
The company has grown steadily since it was founded in 1960.
It recently moved to a new, purpose built 28,000 sq.
ft.
facility near Cardiff Heliport.
As an ABB Motor Service Partner, Gwinnutt will participate in national maintenance schemes for users across multiple sites.
It will also be able to draw on the facilities, stock and expertise of the other thirteen Motor Service Partners, as well as place orders direct through ABB's stock management system.
ABB Motor Service Partners is a national network of independent specialist sales and service companies, backed by ABB, dedicated to supporting users of low voltage AC motors.
