Weekend fan parts search saved chipboard output
Tens of thousands of pounds worth of lost production at chipboard manufacturer Sonae Industria, Merseyside, has been saved by ABB Drives Alliance Partner Central Electrical.
Alan Armstrong, Sales Manager for Thrige-Scott, says: "Becoming an ABB Drives Alliance Partner increases our ability to serve customers.
We can now supply the full range of ABB drives up to 315kW, meeting more of our customers needs.
This is helped by the ability to call on the stocks of other companies in the Alliance".
The addition of Thrige-Scott to the Drives Alliance will enable ABB to strengthen its presence in Ireland.
Thrige-Scott can now provide all the support and spare parts needed by ABB drives users in both Northern Ireland and Eire.
"We now have full access to all ABB spares, including the spares suitcases that allow us to respond rapidly to any service requirements", says Armstrong.
Thrige-Scott will also have full access to ABBs drives macros and start up procedures, allowing the company to undertake enhancements of customers existing systems.
