Injection moulder installs painting robots
Plastic injection moulding experts Rosti (Scotland), based in Larkhall near Glasgow, installed its first ABB paint robots in 1994 to evaluate their merits against manual spraying.
It makes this data easily accessible through Microsoft Internet Explorer, allowing customers to safeguard and optimise their investment in robotics.
The new release, version 4.6, includes a number of new features that the market requested, including improvements to the Custom Databases concept, part of WebWare's Report Module.
Custom Databases allows customers to design their own databases in order to fully support all their needs for automatic data acquisition.
WebWare 4.6 comes with enhanced functions to make this concept even more powerful.
The database archiving functions in WebWare have also been extended to ensure that customers can keep their data for long periods without running out of disk space.
Additionally, extra features to WebWare Backup Module have been incorporated, including functions to trace the reason why backups are executed and the ability for users to insert comments as to when, and why, the back-up took place.
WebWare now also supports the latest security updates for Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, and its user interface and menus are more configurable to provide greater flexibility.
Last, but not least, WebWare 4.6 includes the WebWare Installation Guide - an interactive, step-by-step guide to installing and configuring the product.
A great help in getting started.
