Injection moulding machine builder is planning a series of Technology Days during the Fall in theUS to present the latest advances in moulding technology and automation.

Arburg in the U.S.A is going to open its gates three times to present the latest stage of Arburg technology to their customers

The first Arburg Technology Days will take place from September 18th to September 19th in the headquarters in Newington, CT; the second event on October 3rd in the Technology Center in Westminster, CA, and finally the third one on October 24th in the EPM-Tech Center in Batavia, IL.

The most comprehensive programme will be offered during the 2 day Technology Days in Newington, the headquarters of Arburg in the U.S.A.

Highlight: modular drive Major topic of all three events is the Arburg modular drive with which the company covers the full range from hydraulic to electric machines.

Starting from the standard Allrounder with hydraulic drives, follows on the next level the special model Allrounder C advance, which is equipped with the electro mechanical dosage drive, the Arburg energy saving system AES and position regulated screw.

Then comes the Alldrive machine programme with machines equipped with the modular drive technology: the three main axes are driven with servo electric drives, while with the drives of the secondary axis you can chose between hydraulic or electric.

Thereby the Allrounder A can be equipped like a completely electric version.

Visitors of the Technology Days will see for themselves the efficiency and full range of applications of the two exhibits Allrounder 420 C advance and Allrounder 420 A.

The topic "drive modularity" will be further explained by experts in one of their lectures, in which advantages will be clearly explained and proven by test results.

Further topics of the Technology Days are large Arburg machines - introduced will be the Allrounder 720 S with a clamping force of 350 US tonsf - and the topic of multi-component injection molding, which will be presented in theory and in actual practice.

Besides the technical possibilities of this application, the expert lecture will also cover different mold technologies and describe the requirements for the multi-component machine.

The processing of two components will be shown on an Allrounder 520 C 2000-350/150 machine.

More applications within the fields of Thermoplastic processing, Mucell technology, processing of Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR), precision and micro injection molding will be shown on other Allrounder machines of the C-, S- and K-series.

Besides the Arburg machine programme, the Multilift robot systems production programme and its range of applications will be shown by different applications and project solutions.

Wherever you go - to Newington from September 18th to September 19th, to Westminster on October 3rd, or to Batavia/Chicago on October 24th, 2002 - visitors of the Arburg Technology Days 2002 will be impressed by the comprehensive information on the latest stage of Arburg technology.
