Arburg is expanding options for its 'Golden Edition' plastics injection moulding machines and new features include a second core pull and six heating circuits for more complex moulds The Allrounder Golden Edition machine series launched onto the market on the occasion of the '50 years of Arburg injection moulding machines' anniversary has met with great success internationally

The anniversary machine combines modern technology with an unbeatable price/performance ratio and has convinced customers world-wide.

Frequent customer requests to further extend the field of applications of the Golden Edition have been responded to by Arburg through extension of the list of available options.

The appropriateness of the Golden Edition concept is evidenced by the overwhelming success of the anniversary Allrounders, which have sold extremely well world-wide since their market introduction in February 2006 and are used across a very wide range of applications.

Further evidence of the attractiveness of the anniversary machine are the numerous customer enquiries with regard to additional equipment features.

For this reason, Arburg has decided to suitably expand the list of available options for the Golden Edition, opening up new fields of application for the anniversary machines.

New features include a second core pull and six heating circuits.

Thus, complex moulds can now be used in conjunction with the Golden Edition, which is of particular interest with regard to the larger anniversary machines.

The anniversary series comprises the five Allrounder Golden Edition machine sizes 270 C, 320 C, 420 C, 470 C and 570 C each with fixed clamping force/injection unit combinations.

The injection units are available in the new size range of 70, 170, 290, 400 and 800.

The clamping forces range from 400kN to 2,000kN and the moulded part weights from 2 to 434g of polystyrene.

The technologically high-grade standard equipment of the Allrounder Golden Edition includes the modern control alternative 'Selogica direct' with touchscreen for ease of operation, highly wear-resistant plasticising cylinder fittings for a long service life and the fast-switching valve technology ensuring the highest moulded part quality.

With the optional features, the basic machines can be individually equipped for the injection moulding requirements at hand.

Through expansion of the list of options, the Arburg anniversary gift is suitable for an even broader range of applications and consequently for an even larger clientele, ensuring that the long list of Golden Edition customers is set to grow even more.
