The slogan 'Allrounder International' thus carries the appropriate message of competence in terms of both machine technology and individuals, in all languages and in all markets.
* International orientation of project business - particular attention is being focused on the international project business - the development and fabrication of complex production cells.
A dedicated project department coordinates each optimised customer solution individually.
Injection moulded parts are becoming increasingly complex - also from a business standpoint - across the full spectrum of industry.
In order to create a profitable injection moulding production facility, Arburg carefully analyses customer requirements in advance.
As a complete service provider, Arburg guarantees turnkey production cells supplied from a single source.
The continuously growing project business also owes its success to international reference customers.
Requirements differ from country to country and from application to application, so each project in itself is a new challenge for the internationally-proven project department.
* International machine premiers - Arburg is opening 2007 with four new machines and all of them reflect the spirit of expansion: at the forefront is the new Allrounder 920 S, which marks an extension of the clamping force range at Arburg to 5,000kN (500 tonf).
At the same time, the new hydraulic Allrounder 520 U, the new vertical Allrounder 275 V and the new Allrounder 720 Golden Edition were also launched on the international market at the end of 2006, each of which represents the largest machine in its respective series.
Arburg will present the new Allrounder range at trade fairs around the world in 2007.
* Successful Golden Edition also in 2007 - in the anniversary year '50 years of Arburg injection moulding machines', Arburg launched the special Allrounder Golden Edition series onto the market as a special gift to its customers.
Owing to the overwhelming success of the product, Arburg's management has decided to continue offering this special model with high-tech components beyond the anniversary year.
The crowning sixth addition to the machine series, the Allrounder 720 Golden Edition, premiered in autumn 2006.
Worldwide sales of the Allrounder Golden Edition have been brisk, as the special machine configuration permits a broad application spectrum.
One feature that has been enthusiastically embraced in international customer circles is the modern control system option Selogica 'direct', which sets new operation control standards with its user-friendly touchscreen.
* New subsidiary opened in Shenzhen - the big event of last year, and therefore in a way, the first international event under the new annual slogan, was the opening of the Arburg subsidiary in Shenzhen.
With this addition, Arburg's presence in China now comprises three subsidiaries and three representatives.
The Chinese subsidiaries are fully equipped with service areas, showrooms and manpower, thereby ensuring customer-oriented, intensive support for the Chinese market.
Right from the start, Shenzhen manager Max Man has a team of eleven employees at his disposal in order to support this large and important region in the south of China.
Additional service technicians from the Hong Kong subsidiary support the Shenzhen team.
Many plastics processing companies are based in South China, providing a great potential for high-end injection moulding technology from the Black Forest.
* Worldwide new subsidiary buildings - in order to be better equipped for the future, more international Arburg subsidiaries have invested in highly modern buildings.
Following the relocation of the Turkish subsidiary in 2005, the Dutch and Thai subsidiaries were also able to move into new buildings equipped with optimal service capacities.
The newly constructed building in Utrecht was the first application of Arburg's new corporate architecture concept.
With a visual reference to the headquarters in Lossburg, the 1,040m2 facility combines training facilities, spare parts handling, service, sales and a 300m2 machine showroom under one modern, architecturally-impressive roof.
