Plastics injection moulding machine has a clamping force of 2,000kN and a size 800 injection unit for a maximum shot weight of 434g of PS.

From 29 March to 1 April, Arburg will be exhibiting a representative of its Allrounder Golden Edition series at the M-Plas in Kuala Lumpur An Allrounder 570 C Golden Edition will be on display at stand Q01 in hall 4

It is the largest model of the anniversary series to be presented in Asia up to now.

The Allrounder 720 S Golden Edition was first introduced in the autumn of 2006, and the series now incorporates six machine sizes, which cover a clamping force range of 400 to 3,000kN.

The Allrounder Golden Edition series was designed on the occasion of the anniversary '50 years of Arburg injection moulding machines' and, as a result of the very positive acceptance, the machine is still available on the market.

* Exhibit at the M-Plas trade fair - the Allrounder 570 Golden Edition exhibited in Malaysia, boasts a clamping force of 2,000kN and a size 800 injection unit.

The maximum shot weight is 434g of PS.

The exhibit produces a stacking box from PP in an overall cycle time of 35 seconds.

The moulded part, produced in a single-cavity Arburg mould, weighs 259g.

* Allrounder Golden Edition - Allrounder Golden Edition machines combine high-quality, comprehensive standard equipment with an optimum price/performance ratio.

A practical range of modern technical components was designed on the basis of the C and S series, which can be upgraded individually from a list of optional features.

The technologically superior standard equipment includes the modern control option Selogica direct, highly wear-resistant cylinders and fast, precise switching valve technology.

* Selogica direct, the control option - like all members of the Allrounder Golden Edition series, the exhibition machine is also equipped as standard with the modern control option Selogica direct with touchscreen, which guarantees improved user friendliness through simple and clear menu navigation.

The decisive factor here is the new 15in flat screen with touchscreen user interface.

Direct access fields to the most important graphic images enable detailed process optimisation to be performed rapidly, and also simplify user access.

Mould data can be saved on Compact Flash.

The adoption of the tried and tested operating philosophy of the Selogica control guarantees easy, efficient and adaptable working.

In this way, not only does Selogica direct shorten set-up times, it simultaneously increases operational reliability.

* Rapid valve technology - the Allrounder Golden Edition models feature new, fast switching valve technology, which further improves the precision of the machines.

The ergonomic arrangement of the valves ensures that switching accuracy is correspondingly high.

Simultaneous, time-saving movements and low energy consumption are provided by the servo-controlled hydraulic drive with two pumps.

* The great success of the Golden Edition - "Our customers have not invested in the Allrounder Golden Edition merely to expand their production capacity.

Due to the model's superior technological level, many have also taken this opportunity to modernise their machine fleet," said Arburg's managing director Sales, Helmut Heinson, with delight.

He was also pleased that: "Contacts that initially only concerned the Golden Edition have also led to co-operation on new projects involving other series." * About Arburg - Arburg, a German machine construction company, is one of the leading global manufacturers of injection moulding machines for plastics processing with clamping forces between 125kN and 5,000kN.
