Injection moulders go on show in Poland
Injection moulder handles maximum shot weights of 826g of polystyrene are achievable with a distance of 720 x 720mm between tie bars and a clamping force of 3000kN.
Arburg will present two Allrounders at the Plastpol 2007 in Kielce, Poland, from 29th May to 1st June.
At the Arburg trade fair stand covering an area of 203m2, the small Allrounder 175 V vertical machine will appear alongside the new, largest machine in the Allrounder Golden Edition series: the Allrounder 720 S Golden Edition.
The expansion of the Arburg stand at the eleventh Plastpol comes in a time of larger sizes.
In this regard, Helmut Heinson, Managing Director Sales at Arburg, emphasised: "That we have always striven for outstanding results at the Plastpol".
"Increasing the size of our stand is only right and logical in the context of the important Polish market, which also draws together the interests of neighbouring countries." Heinson goes on to say that Poland is one of the most significant markets in the whole of Europe and that ARBURG has taken this into account by considerably increasing its Polish presence, which was established back in 1992.
* Two trade fair exhibits - the highlight of the Arburg presence in Poland will be the largest representative of the Allrounder Golden Edition machine series, the 720 S Golden Edition.
The new Allrounder was introduced to the trade public last autumn and it will be exhibited on the international stage for the first time this spring.
Maximum shot weights of 826g of polystyrene are achievable with a distance of 720 x 720mm between tie bars, a clamping force of 3000kN (300tonf) and a size 1300 injection unit.
A bowl made of PPH will be produced at the Plastpol.
This has a diameter of 30cm, weighs 118g and will be produced in a cycle time of 20s using a one-cavity mould.
Moreover, the smaller of the two vertical machines, the Allrounder 175 V, will also be exhibited at the Plastpol.
It features a distance of 175 x 175mm between tie bars and a clamping force of 125kN (12.5 tonf).
The vertical machine will be exhibited with a demonstration mould and a two-station rotary table.
* Allrounder V vertical machines - this expansion was the logical step towards the Allrounder 275 V, following on from the great success of the small Allrounder 175 V injection moulding machine with a vertically arranged, fixed clamping unit that was created in response to repeated customer requests.
Arburg therefore continues to offer a series-produced machine designed especially for encapsulating inserts.
The low table heights of 800mm on the 175 V and 900mm on the 275 V make these hydraulic vertical Allrounders an excellent solution for the manual insertion and removal of moulded parts.
Rotary and sliding tables offered as optional features for the machines enable the encapsulation process to be automated and consequently reduce removal and insertion times to a minimum.
The Allrounder V machines are designed as free-space systems with integrated C-clamps and therefore feature considerable degrees of freedom around the mould.
* Allrounder Golden Edition - the anniversary machines that were presented in February 2006 as part of an international market launch with events around the entire globe were a huge success from day one.
But that was just the start of an extremely positive sales trend.
The positive customer response throughout the anniversary year last year was an important reason why the Golden Edition was expanded into the upper clamping force range.
Owing to the overwhelming success, Arburg's management team has decided to continue to offer the Allrounder Golden Edition machine series, consisting of six machine models, on the market.
The Allrounder Golden Edition is a cost-effective hydraulic machine with a wide range of applications, thanks to state-of-the-art Arburg technical components, comprehensive equipment and the modern control alternative Selogica direct.
This range of applications has been expanded further with the introduction of the largest Allrounder Golden Edition, the 720 S Golden Edition.
