A hydraulic, vertical injection moulding machine has a free-space design clamping unit and features generously dimensioned mould mounting platens with a maximum clamping force of 250kN (25 tonf).

From 22 to 25 Mai 2007, Arburg will present two Allrounders at the International Engineering Exhibition 2007 in Nitra, Slovakia The large exhibition stand No

35 in Hall M4, measuring 110m2, will provide the stage for a representative of the Golden Edition anniversary machine series, the Allrounder 570 C Golden Edition, and for the hydraulic, vertical Allrounder 275 V machine.

With the larger of the two vertical Allrounders, Arburg will evidence its extensive expertise with regard to machines particularly suited to the encapsulation of inserts.

Jaroslav Novak, Arburg subsidiary manager in the Czech Republic and responsible for the exhibition stand in Nitra, underscored the significance of this trade fair in Slovakia, "The International Engineering Exhibition in Nitra has always been an important event.

For the Czech Arburg Subsidiary and the Slovakian office, it is without doubt one of the market highlights of the year 2007.".

* Vertical Allrounder 275 V - with the hydraulic, vertical Allrounder 275 V, Arburg has introduced a second vertical machine with a free-space design clamping unit on the market.

The new machine features generously dimensioned mould mounting platens, a maximum clamping force of 250kN (25 tonf), and can be equipped with size 70 and 100 injection units.

The Allrounder 275 V exhibited in Nitra has a clamping force of 250kN, a size 100 clamping unit and is equipped with a demonstration mould which impressively shows the achievable degrees of freedom.

* Compact dimensions - with the low table heights of 800mm on the 175 V and 900mm on the 275 V, these Allrounders are extremely well suited for manual insertion and removal of moulded parts.

Rotary and sliding tables available as optional features for the machines enable the encapsulation process to be automated and consequently reduce removal and insertion times to a minimum.

The Allrounder V machines are designed as free-space systems with integrated C-clamps and therefore feature considerable degrees of freedom around the mould.

In conjunction with their small footprint, the machines are suitable without restrictions for integration into the production process and a variety of automation tasks.

Their use is extremely flexible through the options of either injecting centrally or in the parting line.

The height of the parting line can be varied slightly using a lifting device.

* Golden Edition exhibit - furthermore, an Allrounder 570 C Golden Edition will be presented at the International Engineering Exhibition in Nitra, with a distance between tie bars of 570mm, a clamping force of 2000kN (200 tonf) and a size 800 injection unit.

With the Allrounder 570 C Golden Edition, moulded part weights from 30 to 434g PS can be achieved.

In Nitra, a CD tray will be produced on the anniversary machine.

Material preparation and feed will be performed by a connected Thermolift 100-2 from Arburg.
