The way in which Albion used the transition from ISO 9002 to drive its business forward was featured in LRQA1s newsletter as an object lesson in how to embrace the new standard and make the most of the opportunities it presents.
Tangible evidence of a job well done was presented to the company in the form of an ISO 9001: 2000 compliance certificate by LRQA management systems assessor Trevor Hodge.
He told Albion managing director Richard Osborn and his team that they had achieved a positive measure of business excellence, as opposed simply to complying with a rigid set of quality control procedures.
