Absoft secures contract with Multiyork Furniture

IT consultancy firm Absoft has secured a six-figure support contract with a major furniture concern - the latest result in a strategic move to extend its business base in England and Wales.
The three-year contract with Norfolk-based Multiyork Furniture comes in the wake of a series of other deals with new customers in England, and underpins Absoft's drive to establish a non-oil and gas client portfolio on a national basis.
Aberdeen-based Absoft will provide help-desk support for Multiyork's use of key SAP business systems covering finance, human resources, payroll, sales and distribution, materials management and production planning.
As part of the contract, Absoft will also assume the role of Multiyork's SAP reseller, managing the company's SAP relationship and software licensing agreements.
