Absolute Vision appoints sales director

Charlie Plain-Jones, an expert in the field of part traceability through the use of directly applied Data Matrix marks, has joined Absolute Vision as Sales Director.

Charlie Plain-Jones, an expert in the field of part traceability through the use of directly applied Data Matrix marks, has joined Absolute Vision as Sales Director.

Charlie will lead the company's expansion programme to supply code-reading solutions in quality-driven industries such as automotive, electronics, healthcare and aerospace.

Charlie commented: "Absolute Vision is developing an excellent reputation for innovation, technical understanding, and market awareness in fields like pharmaceutical and biotechnology.

We plan to build on this and grow the business in other 2D application areas.

An important part of this will be to develop new relationships with integrators and other partners active in these 'expansion' markets.

For almost ten years, Charlie has worked with Data Matrix technology throughout Europe and the Near East, with involvement in large-scale implementations across several industries.

His experience in migrating leading-edge technologies from the US into the European marketplace, plus his background in quality assurance systems and a variety of computerized control systems, made him the ideal choice to carry out the new sales development programme at Absolute Vision.
