ABB has expanded its miniature circuit breaker range with the S800, a high performance series aimed at industrial and commercial applications.
"We're pulling out all the stops for this event to make customers fully aware of the benefits they can derive from the RS and ABB brands working together," says James Haigh, General Manager (or Dave Evans, UK Account Manager for RS within ABB Limited).
"As well as the technology trailer and examples of our key products, there will also be ABB experts on hand to offer advice and discuss equipment needs." The partnership makes available an "extended" range of ABB low voltage products, encompassing distribution, line protection, switching and control equipment.
These sit alongside a core range of DIN rail connectors, interface and electronics, time delay relays, signal conditioning, enclosures, surge protection products, switch mode power supplies and industrial drives which are also available through RS.
Nic Brookes, RS Birmingham Trade Counter Manager, adds that visitors can also find out how they will benefit from buying ABB products from RS Components.
"Visitors can learn about the type of technical support we can provide on ABB products, and help users get the most out of their equipment." With the creation of the partnership, customers can count on ABB products being available as and when they need them through all of the RS channels including its famous catalogue and its network of Trade Counters and Call and Collect outlets located nationwide.
Customers will also be able to take advantage of a new dedicated ABB landing page on the RS web site at rswww.com/abb, which is due to arrive later this year.
The open day will take place at the RS trade counter at Duddeston Mill Road, Duddeston Mill Industrial Estate, Birmingham, B8 1AP, starting at 9.30am and finishing at 3.30pm.
