Abas and the Abas partners look back on seven turbulent days at CeBIT

On March 16th, 2005 CeBIT 2005 came to an end Abas and the Abas partners looked back on seven turbulent days

Many qualified contacts, a new software partner in Iran and three contract conclusions at the trade fair are just some highlights of one of the most successful CeBIT participations of the Abas group.

Stelo Tec, a company that was hived off from the DaimlerChrysler group and is a 100% subsidiary, manufactures black tubes for the automotive industry.

The Stelo Tec decision for the Abas Business Software means a successful order for Abas ERP/Automotive.

Currently, Stelo Tec employs 100 people and wants to increase the number of employees to 200 within the next years.

The implementation of the Abas Business Software will start at the end of March with the aid of the Abas project management.

The flexibility of the system was the decisive criterion for selecting the Abas solution.

The Symanzik group of companies is also going to omptimize their business processes in the future using Abas ERP/Automotive.

The Symanzik group of companies is a supplier for well-known automotive manufacturers.

Symanzik has specialized in two business areas: as an automotive component supplier they have specialized in the serial production of sheet metal blanks, stampings, drawn parts and assemblies as well as on the production of respective tools, devices and gagings.

Their second speciality is the production of quality turned and milled parts in small and medium batch sizes.

Thermodyne , which also belongs to the SMYANZIK group, will also be using Abas ERP.

Thermodyne operates in the development and production of packing systems.

The containers made of polyethylene are manufactured using the thermoform method and offer the highest protection under the most extreme conditions.

The packing systems are, for example, being used in aerospacing, the electrical industry, measurement and control technology, medical and computer technology as well as the military.

Lufthansa, for example, stores and t ransports highly sensitive spare parts for airplanes in thermodyne containers.

At the Abas stand manager Udo Troll and Armin Englert, from the Abas software partner Abas Informationssysteme located in Uhingen, set the seal on the future cooperation.

The entire implementation and support of Abas Business Software at the traditional company will be carried out by Abas Consulting .

The 130 employees of Troll Elektronik oHG offer various services for the automotive industry and stand for high quality and reliability.

The reasons to opt for the Abas Business Software according to manager Udo Troll are: "As a medium-sized company in the automotive industry we have to flexibly adapt to the constantly changing requirements of our customers.

We need a software that is able to support these.

By choosing the Abas Business Software we have opted for a flexible and easily adjustable ERP complete solution which is able to meet our demands in the long run.

We have carried out many adjustments in our previous system so that after 5 years the system was not releasable anymore.

This is different with Abas Business Software.

Due to the evolutionary system technology we are able to take part in the technological progress with every new release while maintaining full upgradeability of the system.

The excellent price/performance relation, and the competent support by the Abas experts, contributed to the success and we are now happy to celebrate the future cooperation with a glass of champagne at CeBIT." Concentrated competence regarding the business software for laundry services is guaranteed by the cooperation between Abas Informationssysteme based in Uhingen and the Wirtschaftsdienst fur Waschereibetriebe (WDW) in Kirchheim.

Michael Mose, owner of WDW on the cooperation with Abas Informationssysteme : "The Abas Business Software is the only integrated ERP program package that provides everything laundry services need.

Everything is included in the Abas Business Software for laundry services: from laundry for rent, resident management or route planning up to the integrated eBusiness tool.

The Abas ERP software package and the many years of experience of Michael Mose in the laundry industry complement each other perfectly in order to serve the customers.

The cooperation was concluded on March 15th, 2005 in a relaxed atmosphere between Bernhard Schmid, manager of the Abas partner in Uhingen, and Michael Mose at the CeBIT stand of Abas Software AG.

Also on CeBIT 2005, Abas COO Peter Forscht and Reza SahebZamani, software director of Remis PJS Co, concluded a contract on the future cooperation of both companies regarding the IT solutions Abas ERP, Abas Trade and Abas Web Applications.

Remis will be responsible for the entire marketing and support of Abas Business Software in Iran.

The demand for business solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in Iran is increasing.

Medium-sized companies are continuously working to improve their competitiveness in relation to large companies.

Abas Business Software contributes greatly to increase productivity and to optimize business processes.

An important advantage for the flexible business software from Germany is the excellent price/performance relation as well as its availability on Linux platforms.
