The "Hong Kong Linux Business Adoption Award 2005" goes to the German ERP system
The "Hong Kong Productivity Council" and the "Hong Kong Linux Industry Association" have rewarded the abas user Campion International Development and the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) with the "Hong Kong Linux Business Adoption Award 2005" This yearly award is given to the most successful companies in the Chinese Pearl River Delta that use Linux technologies to optimize their business processes

The winner was chosen by an independent jury, consisting of prominent persons from science, economy and politics.
Based on an extensive criteria catalogue, the jury considered all applications in terms of their business results, cost efficiency, implementation strategy, technologies applied, system flexibility, service quality and utility.
Project management and team work were considered especially important criteria.
From the technological point of view, the jurors appreciated that on the one hand abas ERP allows Campion to use a Linux complete solution and on the other hand the integrated Web solution is based on the solid ground of open standards.
