In the purchasing area the function "Provided materials" was enhaced.
There is now for example an infosystem for stock levels in subcontracting and provided parts can now be scheduled.
The organisation of work orders has been facilitated through partial releases.
The current version of the abas Business Software supports the combined production, in which several different products are created in one production process.
Preliminary costing was also improved, the valuation of stock movements has been expanded, e.g in regard to withdrawal strategies.
In Version 2006, relevant fields for the automotive sector of industry have been integrated into the EDI centre which provides an overview of all EDI processes.
The automatic comparison of credit notes has been expanded.
The abas container management optimises the flow of material and manages the valuable and scarce resource load carrier.
The new function price history provides an overview of a product's price development.
The EDI packing slip in purchasing and the EDI payment advice note in sales are also new.
The financial accounting area features extensive innovations and expansions: financial entries can be created and repeated in defined intervals by means of recurring entries.
Accounts can now be better assinged to VAT items.
There are numerous new functions in reminders, as well as payment suggestions.
Moreover, there are several new infosystems available in Version 2006.
The fixed asset accounting of the abas Business Software has also been expanded: abas users can now use different financial reporting regulations, the fixed assets are managed and depreciated according to different valuation approaches.
In the cost accounting the transaction figures of computation rules are always available.
Computation rule and EDS form can be used by several users at the same time.
The infosystem BABNEU can now be called from the EDS form.
The cost accounting configuration and the document report have also bee! n expanded.
There are also innovations in the material valuation area: the infosystem product stock has been expanded by the stock level account.
The revaluation of the material valuation and valuation of production activity also affects the final costing.
In addition to material and production direct costs, the overheads are now integrated into the stock of finished and unfinished products.
In Version 2006 of the eBusiness solution many innovations and expansions are available, eg the creation of abas eB screens by clicking on a button.
