Companies require a flexible and comprehensive supply of internal data.
Different, isolated IT solutions, which exist in parallel, are to be reduced increasingly.
In the past years the ABAS Software AG has accordingly combined its ERP, PPC, MRP and eBusiness software in the abas Business Software.
Data and functions from various abas applications can be exchanged and used without having to carry out further transactions, for example, to operate the abas eB Webshop with data from abas ERP.
External IT systems can also easily be connected with the abas Business Software.
Various interfaces enable the data exchange with other IT systems, such as: CAD, CAQ, PDC and EDI systems, the order time recording and time and labour data recording, archiving systems, word processing programs, spreadsheets, data warehouse or Olap databases.
The eBusiness area was enhanced in Version 2006 of the abas Business Software.
Creating abas eB screens from abas ERP screens by clicking on a button An additional Transformation Tool was added to the abas eB workbench, using which individual or several abas ERP screens can be quickly transferred to abas eB.
For example, screens with master file data, transaction data or with infosystem data can quickly be made available in abas eB in order to react to new customer service, external sales force or customer requirements.
The ordering process for customers has been further optimised.
Individual items from already saved shopping carts can be adopted into new orders.
Various delivery addresses are provided for selection as a drop-down box.
The cross selling, up selling and accessories functions provide further information to Webshop users about the products in the shopping cart.
