Sales grow by 24% with ABAS ERP

Castor and wheel manufacturer, KAMA Pres, reported that it had realised a 24% sales growth within just one year of implementing an ABAS ERP software system.

Sales and manufacturing departments did not work together, and many processes were doubled.

In hall A1, stand 336, ABAS will, together with its sales partners, present news concerning abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness).
So KAMA sought an appropriate ERP system.
The company said it had selected ABAS because it was impressed by the software's flexibility.
"We felt that abas could be quickly customised during the demonstration phase to meet our needs," said Mr Polat, general manager of KAMA Pres.
"Now, our expectations have been fulfilled".
ERP went on stream in January 2007.
KAMA said that within a year, its revenues had jumped by 24% and transparency increased considerably.
"The biggest improvement of working with ABAS has been the ability to simultaneously see our company's profitability.
We can get healthy information from ABAS ERP to make timely decisions on when to increase our product prices," said Polat.
He continued: "Now our production planning and manufacturing departments can view sales orders as they arrive, and the sales department can determine which orders are currently in progress".
He added: "We have also increased efficiency within our manufacturing department, for instance, if we want to produce a new product we can simulate preliminary costing and get costing details instantly".
* Production specialisation - KAMA Pres produces castors and wheels for a variety of industry applications, from hospital and lab equipment to heavy load carriages and a variety of other transport vehicles carrying light, medium and heavy-duty loads.
