The end-to-end system consists of manual and automated RFID encode and labeling nodes, bar code scanners, over the conveyor RFID verification nodes and outbound RFID dock door portal nodes.
Utilizing its built-in configurable middleware capabilities, FAST Tag DataServer and the FAST Tag DeviceManager tightly integrate these individual nodes to create a system that ensures proper commissioning, capturing, filtering and transfer of RFID data to the customer's IT system.
The FAST Tag DataServer and DeviceManager are based on Accu-Sort's FAST software suite, a robust system with a proven background that has been deployed in more than 400 installations to date.
FAST Tag works with Class 0 or Class 1 EPC tags and is upgradeable to the Generation 2 EPC standard.
