ACI makes changes at board level

Air Control Industries (ACI), the UK's leading producer of air movement equipment, has announced a number of changes at Board level.

Air Control Industries (ACI), the UK's leading producer of air movement equipment, has announced a number of changes at Board level ACI Managing Director, Eric Forknall, who has been with the Company for more than 34 years, covering five decades, has become Chairman of ACI, replacing Dr John Ault OBE who is retiring

Paul Tuffin, previously ACI's Technical Director, takes over the day-to-day running of the Company as ACI's new Managing Director, with immediate effect.

Under the direction of Eric Forknall, ACI has evolved into a high-tech designer, manufacturer and supplier or industrial Fans and Blowers, with annual turnover growing from GBP 100,000 to GBP 4.5m.

"On behalf of everyone at ACI, I would like to thank Dr Ault for his contribution and hard work and wish him all the very best for the future." stated Eric Forknall.

"I originally joined the Company as a Project Manager and it has been a wonderful experience.

I am also grateful for all the support I have received over the years, particularly from Dr John Ault, my fellow Directors and Management Team." New Managing Director, Paul Tuffin, joined ACI in 1991 as Project Manager of the Airknife product from the Ordinance Division at Normalair-Garrett.

Under his direction, Airknife product sales have risen from GBP 30,000 to GBP 1.5m in the last decade.

On his appointment, Paul Tuffin stated: "I feel extremely honoured to have become ACI's new Managing Director.

Eric Forknall has established a highly respected Company, and a team of extremely competent and committed employees.

I am looking forward to working hard to ensure this success is continued".

On the year ahead, Paul Tuffin continued: "The constant improvement of our existing product range, new distribution agreements and the introduction of newly developed products in the coming year will help ensure continued growth at ACI.
