Airknife Drying Eliminates Common
Problems

Such problems as illegible ink jet coding, unsightly water stains and label slip due to moisture carry over on canning lines are eliminated by modular Airknife drying systems.

Such problems as illegible ink jet coding, unsightly water stains and label slip due to moisture carry over on canning lines are eliminated by modular Airknife drying systems, according to Air Control Systems (ACI) The effective drying also eliminates the potential hazard of stress-corrosion cracking resulting from trapped moisture during high or low temperatures during storage or transportation, added the company

Mounted on an adjustable frame work, the ACI blower-powered Airknife can be positioned and angled to achieve the maximum drying effect, in either single or multi-tier configurations.

A range of complementary accessories (rigid ducting, splash guards and quick release clamps) ensure high operating efficiency for each specific application said ACI.

Further, because of their modular nature, the Airknife systems can be installed both as original or retrofit assemblies for upgrading existing lines, permitting simple replacement of inefficient compressed air based drying systems.

Airknife comprises an acoustically enclosed blower mounted on a stainless steel frame with stainless steel airknives and fittings.

Additional flexible nozzles can be employed for specific localised zone drying.

Free, on-site demonstrations are offered by ACI to verify the efficiency of the company's airknife systems. Request a free brochure from Air Control Industries ...
