Blower removes light materials from scrap flow
A novel way of removing light materials from waste and scrap is to use a blower providing a continuous curtain of air horizontally across a drop between upper and lower conveyors.
Based upon ACI's energy efficient, blower-powered Airknife system, the new Dri-Line bottle drier has a fully enclosed drying chamber that both reduces noise levels and provides enhanced safety.
The transparent enclosure walls permit visual monitoring of the drying process.
Safety switches can be fitted to the doors as an option said ACI.
Improved ergonomics result from a new design for the stainless steel blower housing that permits a choice of installation height.
The blower housing can be installed below the conveyor line or mounted on legs above the bottle carrying conveyor.
Footprint area is 1500mm x 1000mm and the new design also allows easy access for maintenance as well as being more robust, added the company.
Maximum claimed throughput capabilities range from 15,000 bottles per hour for 2.5 litre bottles up to 55,000 for 0.3 litre bottles. Request a free brochure from Air Control Industries ...
