Portable fan is free-standing

An Air Control Industries product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Apr 30, 2007

For many cooling jobs, a portable, variable speed fan is free-standing and has an adjustable pitch and, where air flow is required to be positively directed, an optional air streamer is available.

A new portable fan for temporary cooling solutions in commercial and industrial locations has been introduced by Air Control Industries of Chard, UK.

The new free-standing, variable-speed fan is intended for use in a wide range of situations in commercial, industrial, retails and leisure environments.

Its pitch is adjustable (180 deg) and, where air flow is required to be positively directed, an optional air streamer attachment is available.

It is powered by a maintenance-free IP54 motor and is available in both 230V AC and 115V AC versions.

The fan comprises a corrosion-proof aluminium impeller mounted in a robust polypropylene housing on a heavy-duty, powder-coated, tubular stand.

It is 864mm tall with a 780 x 622mm foot print.
