Advanced Carbide Tooling is featuring the advantages of its Microlube precision lubrication system and comprehensive range of chamfering machines at the Tooling Show in October Microlube systems bring significant health and safety benefits because of the small quantities of non-toxic material which are used and the fact that it is totally consumed by the metalworking process

Components frequently require no cleaning before painting or anodising, for example, and working conditions for operators are greatly improved.

The ACT range of chamfering and de-burring machines includes the Contourmill, V-mill and Chamfermill, all of which have been recently upgraded.

The Countourmill is now available with TiN-coated cutters in addition to the existing uncoated carbide range and includes types for corner radiuses.

The V-mill production chamfering machine is now available with three-phase motors ex-stock, and the Chamfermill has been improved with the introduction of new air motors, giving more power and greater precision.

ACT is on stand 1246 at Tooling 2001.
