Precision label applicator offers high
accuracy
For all types of labelling, a label applicator has stepper motor drive to provide a much higher level of control during the labelling process and gives a +/-0.8mm positioning accuracy.
The leading provider of feeding, labelling and wrapping solutions, Advanced Dynamics, is introducing into the UK a uniquely designed label applicator that is ideal for all types of labelling The Eurokett Vega is equipped with stepper motor drive to provide a much higher level of control during the labelling process

Static control system has wide range
Static control system set to revolutionise plastics and rubber handling provides outstanding extended range performance even when installed up to 250mm from webs.
Compact wrapping machine uses ultrasonic sealing
Compact wrapping machine that uses ultrasonic sealing technology is believed to be a major breakthrough for flat product wrapping and can include an embossed pattern.
It gives a +/-0.8mm position accuracy and when supplied with the encoder-based speed tracking system, the dispenser maintains extremely accurate label placement even when the speed is varied during the application process.
In addition, the Vega has integrated programmable controls that are built into the systems back plate.
No extra space is required to accommodate a traditional control box.

Compressed air products reduce shutdowns
Air nozzles and jets, enclosed coolers and cold air guns can improve production rates and the quality of products, prolong tool life and decrease shutdowns.
Web cleaners remove 1 micron particles
A range of web cleaning systems are ideal for combating nuisance dust particles - down to 1 micron - collected during printing, coating and laminating processes.
The operator interface for the controls can be rotated to ensure the correct orientation for vision no matter where the dispenser is sited.
The compact design follows increased demand for smaller, easy-to-use dispensers.
Eurokett Vega can handle labels measuring 10mm width (minimum) to 110mm width (maximum).
It operates at speeds of up to 30m of label roll/min, or up to 150 labels/min.
Managing director of Advanced Dynamics, Malcolm Little, explained why the new dispenser has been introduced into the UK market: "We have found an increased market demand for smaller dispensers.
A stepper motor has been integrated into the machine's design to provide a compact system that is very easy to operate and gives a high degree of label control." In addition to the benefits of an integrated motor, the dispenser is very simple to install.
It's 'plug and play' design means users only need a connecting pipe with a diameter of 50mm and an electric socket to get the system up and running.
Little explained why a 'plug and play' option has been developed: "A modern machine cannot rely on great performance alone, it has to be user-friendly to meet high flexibility expectations.
The 'plug and play' option offers simplicity and allows operators to handle the machine with the minimum of instruction.
The electronic display on the stepper motor is also very simplistic and easy to understand." Eurokett have incorporated over 25 years of manufacturing experience into the Vega.
Its knowledge of dispensers has ensured enhanced performance using more economical materials.
